When clients of mine ask me if I can help their children overcome bedwetting, they’re delighted to discover how easily and quickly it stops for good. Bedwetting is far commoner than you’d think. only no-one really talks about it.

I enjoy working with children and teens and they enjoy the relaxed sessions. Mindfulness- based therapy really is child’s play – it’s all about ‘playing on purpose’ to make the necessary changes. Imagination is key in brain-training and kick-starts permanent change for good right at the heart of it.
I’m a mindfulness teacher, psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist – a former registered nurse.
Parents feel reassured in knowing of my nursing background, along with many years of successfully treating children and of course being a mum! They tell me my treatment has a huge effect on their child’s happiness, self-confidence, self-esteem and on their school-work and exams, too. Sometimes mums find it hard not to lose patience with bedwetting. Relationships suffer and they feel bad.
It’s great for a parent to be able to make such a difference to a child or young person’s life. Most of my young clients have tried different loads of different methods to stop bedwetting, restricting fluids, alarms, charts or meds. These might work for awhile, but when they stop kids feel really bad about themselves.

After as few as 4-6 sessions they are free to enjoy sleep-overs, school trips abroad, visits with relatives or scout camp. Having to wear pull-ups or suffering the misery and embarrassment of wet sheets and smelly mattresses quickly becomes a thing of the past. It is a major breakthrough for them and their family as well.
Obviously, you’ll have had a check-up for your child with your doctor to rule out infections or any medically treatable condition before starting therapy with me.
Right! All you need to do now is … phone me on 09 9962466.
If I don’t reply it’s because I’m helping someone else – text me so we can talk later.
