IVF Clinic – Preparing for Success

Studies show that fertility mindfulness can double your chance of conceiving with your IVF Clinic.  Discover how you can prepare for pregnancy success.

Be

IVF Clinic

The form of IVF that suits you and your husband/partner is tailored for your needs. It may vary considerably from what a relative or friend has had. IVF is an umbrella term for a range of modern assisted reproduction techniques. There are many different techniques, schedules and medication protocols that may be chosen for you, depending on which stage in the complicated baby-making chain you have difficulties.  There are a number of IVF Clinic choices available to you in Ireland, and abroad.

Navigating your IVF clinic journey

You’ll learn what to expect at your IVF Clinic, all about tests and treatments. Knowing which questions to ask helps you feel part of the team.  You avoid being overwhelmed and stressed by the process.

You both still have to cope with regular life, work, relationship, family and friends. It is a lot to juggle and  it can become too much to manage alone. Undergoing IVF for the first or fifth time is stressful, even when you are familar with the IVF clinic that you have chosen. There are a lot of questions about deeply personal aspects of your life, and intimate examinations and scans to go through.   It can be daunting to have to take so many meds and injections. Hormone-induced bloating, mood swings and insomnia are problems for some patients.

IVF needs time off work for clinic visits and also blood tests, scans, surgical procedures and stocking up on meds.  It’s a lot to take aboard. Research shows that fertility mindfulness improves IVF pregnancy rates and helps with anxiety.  Clients have 6-visits with me, as part of my fertility bootcamp. My role is coaching you smoothly through the whole IVF process so you have the best possible chance of conceiving. My clients report feeling a greater sense of control, calm and perspective … as do their partners! IVF is not an exact science so using a  fertility mindfulness approach keeps you on track for a healthy pregnancy.

Afterwards

After your cycle is complete it’s good to know my coaching continues into the early days of pregnancy. If the cycle fails support helps you recover at your own pace.
